Judith earned her PhD in agricultural micro-meteorology at Delft University of Technology. She visited the lab as a PhD candidate to study the impact of solar radiation on bud and stem temperature and changes in soil temperature with and without snow cover. She is currently a researcher at the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI).
